BioI am a healer, actually a Registered Surgical Nurse Manager for a large metropolitan hospital. I am single and live in my own home with my dog a Yorkie. I am also a bellydancer. I have a very busy professional and personal life, so sometimes you need an escape. Mine is costume-making. I love to make fantasy costumes (movies, historical...primarily Medieval or Renaissance), bellydance costumes and evening gowns. Hey I like stuff that sparkles, what can I say. I am a rocker, I love 80's hair metal/headbanger, if you will. I also like Irish Punk, Alternative and oldies. My journal will probably be boring for some, but if you are interested in costuming, I am your gal.
I don't get to watch a lot of TV, but if I do, I watch Survivor, the Amazing Race and Law and Order. I am a Lord of the Rings fan from way back. I am trying to re-read all of the Tolkien stuff, as time permits.
My favorite holiday is Halloween, go figure. I was born a little early (the first and last time in my life I was ever early for anything) and should have been born on Halloween.
I love sports, football, hockey, NASCAR (yes I know it's a bunch of guys making left hand turns, but some of them are really hot), basketball and baseball mostly during playoffs, don't have that much time.
